Our aims? - to be different and to make a difference (Published April 2007)
Since 1991 we have provided complicated
transaction finance, using methods that were
innovative at the time. We pioneered the
funding of focused sales ledgers, and restarts, and
construction industry debt finance, each at the
time when others were shy. Now all that is normal,
so we look elsewhere for innovation in funding our
clients.
As our insurable covenant, now over £1m, and
reputation has grown we can do new things. We buy
goods on normal credit for our clients from all over the
world with our economical supplier undertaking. It is used
by new starts and restarts buying in the UK, and by both
importers and exporters. It assists any business that cannot
get supplier credit, such as those in a CVA or bought from
an administrator, including manufacturers. But this is not
news if you have read our earlier adverts
The Fairfax Food Group plc is new. By putting our
food clients in one group they all get the benefits of scale,
the supplier and customer contacts of our other clients,
and they all own shares in their listed company. Maybe there are some
prospective food clients who want to join this?

products. It is premature to collate these clients in a listed group at
the moment, but we do promote their products
worldwide. For example:
How about HiRAD plc? High Rate Anaerobic
Digestion of organic waste, a new continuous process,
saves landfill and provides zero-carbon power in the UK
and the EU within 24 hours. It creates jobs and power
in Africa and Asia. It resulted from us putting two of our
clients together.
Many major retailers in the UK are seeking to reduce
their carbon footprint; every local authority has to reduce
landfill. HiRAD is the technology to enable both of them,
and it has world-scale potential. Exciting times; exciting clients. Food
for thought, as well as anaerobic digestion
